Cindy Frenkel’s writing has appeared in publications ranging from The New Yorker to WIRED to The New York Ob-server, where she was a columnist. She served as writer/editor of the Detroit Institute of Arts magazine (DIA) and a writer-in-residence with InsideOut Literary Arts Project. She is the co-author of 100 Essential Books for Jewish Readers and author of the chapbook, The Plague of the Tender-Hearted (Finishing Line Press, 2020).
